How Freezer Grid works
The sources, assumptions and limits behind this independent planning tool.
Geometry with visible assumptions
The tool checks measured rectangular baskets against usable floor regions. With a compressor step, it compares two L-shape partitions and up to two orientations per region. It displays the feasible grid it found; it does not claim globally optimal packing.
Limits that affect fit
The diagram does not model wall curves, load limits, rails, handles changing position or the motion of taking baskets out. A default margin is an editable planning value. The user must verify the opening, actual clearances and stacking instructions. The top of a compressor step is excluded from this floor-only plan.
How we maintain the reference
Published product facts link to their source and carry a review date. They are documented specifications, not hands-on test results. Retailer stock, shipping and prices can change. A planning result should be checked against the exact product and its current instructions before a purchase.
